Badger Shaving Brushes

The key to getting a great shave in the morning is to use a traditional badger shaving brush. A badger shaving brush is used with a traditional shaving cream or shaving soap to produce a rich shaving lather. The lather will soak the beard and soften the beard hairs whilst also protecting the skin against the razor blade. Badger hair is used as, unlike most animal hair, it absorbs water which makes building a lather easy. There are many different grades of badger hair of different price and quality. The cheaper badger hair is the black badger, pure badger or best badger hair. This quality is not as soft as the more expensive grades but is very effective. The next grade is super badger which is slightly softer and feels nicer against the skin. The most expensive grade is silver tip badger hair. This is the softest hair available and the most luxurious to own.
