Being pregnant is probably one of the most amazing and wonderful things any woman will experience in her life. There are some not so fun times like morning sickness for example. But other than that it is pure joy. It is absolutely amazing to know that one day you can look at your child and know that you created that and developed it for nine months. Not only that, but it's a period of 9 months that your body was designed for. There is something about going to the dentist that makes people nervous - whether it's a checkup or for dental implants or whatever. But I try to remember how good it feels after I've been to the dentist and my tooth problem is gone. It is hard to remember that moment when you are first getting in the dentists chair. Those are the moments that seem to last forever! When I took my kids to the dentist, I always kept a running conversation about all the interesting things that are in a dentists office. This helped them in those early moments of nervousness that even young kids pick up on at the dentist. After a few visits, my kids picked up on that peculiar smell that buildings with dentist offices in them have. But hopefully that smell will help them remember that even though the dentist is a little scary when you first get there, you will have a really good feeling afterward. |
