Holiday Cottages in the Lake District are all the rage at the moment. Despite the fact that you have to keep one eye on the weather, the outdoor activities such as climbing, mountain biking and walking have not diminished in popularity in the area. Water sports such as sailing and windsurfing are also popular in the area, but for safety there are a number of lakes where fast sailing is not permitted.
Visitor attractions in the area include the homes of Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth. These attract large numbers each year so arriving early is recommended but there is enough to keep you busy there all day, with areas nearby which are suitable for picnics and good walking trails around the properties. There surely is no other better option for enjoying some time away than when you spend it in one of the holiday cottages. With the Lake District you have amazing places to explore and discover.
