Proper Planning Makes Moving House an Enjoyable Experience

I have a wonderful experience of moving house from one place to another. I have to shift my house every eleven months or so, so you could say I have plenty of experience with moving home. As it is not always possible to hire packers and movers due to cost factor I manage it myself taking the help of my friends.
I do a careful planning by writing down what all I’m going to do and how I’m going to do. I have kept large wooden boxes for packing and so the chances of things breaking are less. The crockery items and decorative pieces are placed in these boxes wrapped in our clothes which we wear. I never do the packing of all things at one time rather I do room wise packing. After the things have been packed I labeled the boxes by giving it numbers and writing a list of what is in that box. This way it becomes easy for me when I unpack the things. I keep the valuable things like ornaments, important documents in a hand bag which I carry with myself. If we do careful planning before moving and stick to the plan the move becomes easy.
I'll never forget my first major move. I'd acquired so much junk, I had to hire a skip lorry to get rid of it all! Now I've learnt to live more lightly.
